Who we are
This site, mentalagetestapp.com, is run by Muhammad Husnain Zahid, based in Lahore, Pakistan. You can reach us at info@mentalagetestapp.com or through the contact page.
The site offers a free, anonymous, entertainment-only quiz. It is not a psychological, medical or diagnostic service.
What stays on your device
Your answers and progress through the test are stored in your browser only, using local storage. We do not receive or see them unless you choose to add your score to our averages, and that submission contains only the number and nothing that identifies you.
Local storage on this site holds two small items: your quiz progress and your cookie choice. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser's site data. The cookie policy lists them by name.
What we collect automatically
Like most websites, we and our service providers may collect standard technical data, such as device type, approximate location from IP address, and pages visited, through analytics and, where enabled, advertising partners. See our cookie policy for the full list and your controls.
Google Analytics
Aggregate statistics about which pages are visited and roughly how long people stay.
Server logs
Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and request time, to keep the site running and secure.
Advertising
This site carries advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your browser or device settings, and through adssettings.google.com where applicable.
Advertising is what keeps the quiz free. We do not choose ads based on your quiz answers, and we do not see your answers.
Adding your score to our averages
After finishing the test, the result page offers an optional way to add your score to our averages. Only your final number is sent and saved, with no name, email, date or answer-by-answer breakdown attached. Your IP address is used briefly in the server's memory to limit spam and is not saved with your score.
We do not publish an average until enough readers have taken part for it to mean anything. You can read more on the averages page. Declining has no effect on your result.
When you contact us
The contact form on this site opens your own email app with your message ready to send. Nothing you type into the form is stored by the site itself. If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and message through your email provider, and we use them only to reply to you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data held about you, and to object to certain processing. Contact us via the contact page to exercise these rights.

Because we do not hold an account for you, and your quiz answers stay in your browser, most of what we could delete is under your own control. You can clear it yourself in your browser settings.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
